Today

Today, the bossy woman is coming to London for 2 weeks.

This will be my third time to be a London tour guide, after Luis in December and SK early April, have to walk, a lot again.

But, London will not be the same today.

T4XI

Taxi - the only film in foreign language that I followed since the it was released in 1998, Taxi 2 in 2000 and Taxi 3 in 2002. Taxi 1 was claimed to be the european action comedy of the decade and I certainly agree with it.

Thanks to PPStream, I got to watch Taxi 4 which was just released in February this year. Save the money to go to cinema or buy pirated DVD, cause it doesn't worth it. It was very disappointing indeed. Maybe I had high expectation from the previous films. Even though they used the new 407 coupe to replace the 406 in previous films. However, not much car action scenes and the film is full with the same old lame jokes.

Also, the same cast since Taxi 1 in 1998, where most of the actors were in their late 20's back then. Apparently Daniel (Samy Naceri), Emilien and the Russian chick Petra are now looking so old and lacking of energy in the film.

The trailer of the film

The film also featured the fragile footballer, Djibril Cisse who play for Marseille now if you still remember him. He broke his left leg for Liverpool against Blackburn in 2004, and broke his right leg for France against China in a friendly match just before WC2006. I am sorry and I do pity Cisse but I think it's funny.

The First Break

The Second Break

Overall, watch it if you can read chinese and watch it free in PPStream, or else just forget it.

Blossom in Spring

Milder weather in the UK now, flowers blossom everywhere. Season where a lot of people fall sick cause change of weather. Shoot some flowers recently and plan to visit Regent Park to shoot more.

All pictures were taken in RAW format. Picture taken in RAW will look dull originally as nothing has been processed by the camera sensor. Anyway the picture is recorded in full details hence can do a lot of tweaking in post processing compares to other format.

A Wedding

25th March was Tom & Susan's second wedding ceremony in London, the first was held in Penang in February. Even though I only got to know them for less than a year, but I can see they are very loving and did put in a lot of effort for their wedding. I heard Tom cried in the registration? (I hope Tom was touched, not chicken out at the very last minute :p)

The wedding invitation card, a very nice one.

The dinner was held in Dynasty Hotel at Baker St. It was a very Chinese wedding, with Chinese style pi-pi-pa-pi-pu opening music and karaoke session was on the whole night, the folks must have enjoyed.

Everyone were given a cute little piggy torch light (the double love was tied as the wings of it) and were told to lit up when the couple entered the restaurant, very thoughtful indeed.

KK hosted the game session towards the end of the dinner and it was quite fun.

They also have a nicely designed webpage which records their love journey.

My best wishes to them.

Tandoori Chicken

It has been very long since my last posting, been taking and editing photos but not really a lot of presentable photos so far...

Helped Justin, Ivan and Christiano when they were moving to Warren St 2 months ago. After the tiring day we went to this Indian restaurant near Warren St, recommended by Christiano.

We ordered nasi beriyani, naan, some daal, mutton, simple but very nice indeed, and...

I had the best Tandoori chicken ever, well done but the juiciness is well remained in it, unlike most others which are rather dryish. It's absolutely brilliant. Will definitely visit the place again, and remember its name.
