Minolta 3600 HS(D)

The woman has left London, so now I am free again to post..

Ever since I purchased my DSLR, I have been seriously addicted to it and been buying accessories for my toy impulsively.

Bought a SanDisk Extreme III 2GB CF card from Amazon for just GBP17.99 + GBP4.50 for delivery. I think it's a very good price and it's extremely fast! The Sony 1GB memory stick PRO Duo card that came with my DSLR bundle was selling for more than RM100 in KL.

My photography skill in low light condition seriously sucks, never been into flash photography but after trying Anthony's Minolta 5600 HS(D) in recent Dyxum outing, I have decided to purchase a flash gun to be added to my inventory. Initially I was considering a new Sony HVL F56-AM which cost about RM1,000 but managed to get a decent deal for an used Minolta 3600 HS(D), better train the skill first before going for the top range unit. It's like new and GBP85 including delivery looks right to me, thanks to dCap of Dyxum forum.

It came with a case, wide angle adapter and mini stand (for wireless function!) and it has ADI and HSS function which sounds good (anyway I haven't got a clue what is it for).

Bought an Uniross charger with 4 x 2500mAh Ni-Mh rechargeable batteries for GBP7.20 for the flash gun, from Amazon as well. It's a good place to shop as I always find there are great discounted deals. The battery life is great, still going strong since I first charged it and flash for 40-50 times.

Way to learn on flash photography, hope will be able to shoot some nice photos with flash soon.
