Paris Part VIII - The Louvre

Finally, it's Musee du Louvre, the main destination for the woman in Paris for her Da Vinci Code Tour.

We broke up in the morning, just patch back in the afternoon so she needed sunglasses to cover the red eyes :p

The are some ducks swimming in the triangle ponds around the pyramids.

The Winged Victory of Samothrace - still the piece of artwork that amazed me the most in the museum.

The Seated Scribe - one of the most important example of ancient Egyptian art.

The Sphinxes, inspired by the woman.

Temporary exhibition displaying some contemporary arts.

The view beneath the pyramid.

The triangle pond and the reflection.

The pyramid.

The night view at The Louvre is great. Too bad I was lazy to bring out my tripod so couldn't really shoot from better angles. This picture was taken putting my camera on a stone baluster.

I think this is the angle of one of the Da Vinci Code's movie poster. Taken at F3.5, 1/2.5 sec hand held, ISO 800 with anti-shake turned on, quite bearable still after processing in Photoshop.
